I like the red that you mentioned. Not too out there but a nice contrast.

Nooo do NOT ceramic coat your brakes lol!!! That's what they do to headers so it retains exhaust heat within the header and not over-heat the engine bay, doing that to calipers would be a major no no!

On a side note, have you taken apart the calipers yet? I'm thinking of doing this also and i'm just wondering how hard it'd be to take them apart then re-build it

Haven't taken them apart for fear of not doing the job properly myself. If all works out, I may have a resource for the rest of the board wanting to do the same. The seals definately need replacing, but the metal pistons you cannot tell unless disassembled to see if they are scored.

I have to potentially source those.

what colors are your wheels and any other modifications being installed on the car? You want the colors to flow nicely.

Well,

I went in person to see the templates. If my car wasn't black I could go with the blue's. The red is a deep color red unless in direct light. If I cook these, brown in no time...ugh.

I guess im going with the red since if i want something other than the temps, he has to order a whole gallon of powder which he doesn't want to do.

I like something like this shade minus some of the flake.

Well I have some pictures of the rebuild and powder.

I'd say a job well done. The color was the best for what was available. I could have gone with something else, but I thought it ok for my purposes.

The attention to detail is good. He replaced the inner brackets and allan screws without charging or asking me. All the seals were provided by me except the stupid crossover seals and it only required one front piston. Other than that they look like a new set of brembo's minus the decals and of course a different color.

For any northeast guys interested the business is Quality Rebuilders located in Lynn, Ma and also NJ I believe. I dealt with a good guy Joe in the Lynn store.

He even honed out the bolt holes to a new silver finish!

I'm afraid they will turn a brown color(hope not). They are like a maroonish red/cranberry. Really depends on the lighting.
