So i trimmed some more of the driver side control arm tonight where it was hitting and its slowly going away. I started to cut into the strut tower but got scared and welded it back up :/ Thinking of taking it to a buddy of mine who does all custom fab and what not to cut it for me. For now im just going to trim the passanger side and deal with the little clunking i still have. Also wrecked one of my endlinks doing the coil install and have to replace that. Is it really necessary to get adjustable ones up front? if it is ill order them, but if its a waste i dont want to spend the money. I should note i plan on upgrading the sways to the eibach kit at some point.

With little to no suspension and completely fcuked up suspension geometry i doubt endlinks really matter. You could probably just remove your sway bar and have no other negative results.

Im taking this as a sarcastic answer. I took the front sway bar out of my bagged GLI and and you can in fact feel a pretty decent difference even though my car literally sat an inch off of the ground and had no travel/ ****ed geometry.

Any more help is appreciated

If you only get it once in a while i guess but if it's that bad there might be something wrong.

anyway i drove around with the clunk for a few months, didnt really damage anything
i believe you have stock a arms. That's why you wren't clunking and OP's is clunking..just like mine.

Anybody have a pic of stock a arm and Kinetix a arm side by side?

I am also having the same problem with my spc arms. I am lowered a good bit.
Is it worth it too cut a hole or maybe hammer it in some?
Will cutting a hole, or bending it in mess up anything important?
Does this clunking mess anything up do to the impact on the frame?
If I cut or bend anything, im sure i shouldn't need another alignment since i am not messing with any specs, eh?
Would like to get this solved soon before i start commuting back to school again, thanks!
