Default Going for "the look"

So after about a year of daily driving my Z on "1 lowering springs, I've decided to invest in my car and go for "the look".

I have recently ordered a set of brand new wheels. (varrstoens) 19" 9.5/10.5 with +12 offset. So far my tire set up is 245/35/19F and 285/35/19R.

So with that being clarified, I will be replacing my springs and going for coilovers. Which coilovers would be best suited for this set up? Keep in mind that this is my DD and I live in Miami. (Roads are close to third world country)

Would appreciate any advice on this matter. Thanks

your gonna have to get your rear fenders rolled...

Coils - stance or D2's and ksports get my vote...(if your on a budget and want something decent)

Yeah I'm certain that once I get the coils I'll have to roll my fenders.

But on the springs I have now, would that apply as well? On my rear tires, i'm not sure if 275's or 285's would be the right choice....

you wouldnt catch me rollin or diggin into my cars sheet metal to fit 275s..
no point IMO.

If yer gona do it, do it all the way, and 285 is still very tame IMO.

( again i say IMO)

I decided to fully cut to fit 305s.. and soon to be 335s.

Also for the look. haha.

It all depends on budget, and how much you value "the look" vs the actual ride quality/performance aspect of what you're buying. Depending on your intended height, you will also need a rear camber/toe kit and possibly front adjustable a arms as well

you will need to roll the quarters at least to some degree for just your springs with a 10.5 inch wheel and +12 offset

I would guess the cheapist coilovers money can buy if you only care about "the look"

Quality coilovers gentlemen...

With my springs and 285's, would I get a lot of camber wear?

I did not invest in a rear camber kit cause It wasn't really necessary. I'm expecting my stock shocks to wear out soon, so at that point I'll get some QUALITY coils.

Why buy quality coils if you bought $1000 Chinese crap wheels?
Is this an "investment"?

Why wouldn't you buy those perect gts' in ill offsets from teh local
Seller. Your entire approach is logically flawed.

Might as well buy garbage coils too.

This is not an opinion. I'm just trying to help you get where
You want to go.

If you've not purchased the wheels or are willing to sell them
And start over we can help. If not you're just gonna get flamed.

I can also help get you great tires that don't suck.

Just admit you are willing to think a little more.

no one can tell you what your camber wear will be, or may be, without you posting your current alignment specs

As far as the coilovers, again, it starts with your budget. There is a HUGE difference between the span of just $1000 and $2000 in terms of overall quality - but the customer looking at spending $1000 typically isn't looking at spending $2000, and the customer looking at the more expensive ones typically doesn't have the cheaper ones on his radar at all

Set a budget, define your goals more clearly, and the candidates for what is worth actually buying and installing tends to come to light very quickly
