Exclamation Brake lines?

Hi guys,

So I've bought OEM Brembo pads, and am ready to perform a brake job.

#1 How much (as in ml or L) of brake fluid do I need, for a complete flush + bleed?

#2 Which stainless steel brake lines would you recommend? I am thinking Stoptech, but not sure if it would work with my stock Brembo brakes, if I get the lines ONLY.

#3 I assume I need to machine the (not drilled or slotted) rotors as well?

#4 Anything else I need to do / watch out for?

#1. 1 bottle is enough (500 ml). Yes, I'd recommend doing a complete flush and bleed the system properly.
#2. I'd go with Stoptech as well
#3. Yes, do get the rotors turned
#4. There's a DIY in the brake section. Get yourself a nice motive bleeder.

Good luck.

i just picked up R1Concepts.com rotors. Cheap rotors and i've read pretty good reviews. when i bleed the brakes it only took roughly half a bottle of brake fluid.

LOL once again, there are 2 kinds of bottle in general. 500ml and 1L. Which one should we get, to not run short half way through the process?

I edited the my 1st post. 500 ml bottle. You can buy 2 bottles if you want to top it off later.

Hey thanks man.

As for lines, I am looking at this:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?...tchlink:top:en

Now will this line work with OEM Brembo brakes? In terms of fitting and length.

using thier system on the page, it says they will fit.. why dont you send them an email and ask them if its meant for your year and application.

OR for far less money, buy from a site sponsor ( CuztompartZ ) and i think its 115 bucks for a set of reputable SS lines AND motul fluid.
