HKS Hypermax III adjustment question
How do you adjust the dampening in the rear? Just pop off the strut bar covers and fish around for the adjuster with the tool???.... Which hole is it? lol
I wanna tweak the adjusters alittle tighter. I wish it was as easy as doing the front.

there should be a small **** towards the bottom of the sleeve of the coils. i believe the hks coilovers do not use the top mount dampening set up for the rear.
counterclock wise to soften.
edit - I think if you have a long enough allen key you can reach it without removing your wheel.

how do you adjust the height? i have the hks ls and wondering howto change the height without taking off the wheel and loosening the nuts that hold the spring bucket/spring/hat. Wondering if its the same as your coils....

its pretty much impossible to adjust the ride height without taking the coilovers off..
if you have the oem style rear, i guess you can use a hammer and a flathead or something to thread the collars up to adjust your ride height, but thats the lazy way and will take way more effort.
just take the nuts and bolts off and do it how you normally should.

For me it's easy to adjust the rear dampening. I can reach through my Volk ce28n's and turn the adjust dial near the lower mount bolt on each side. I assume clockwise is tightening unless they are upside down.
I'll have the shop lower the car again in the rear and adjust the camber. To much wheel gap for my tastes since the last alignment.
I need to grease the F' out of my sways. I suspect that they are making knocking noises. I guess the shop wasn't generous enough with the grease.
