Default Suspension Set-Up Advice

Ok so as of now I have Tein S-Tech Springs with stock everything else. I have Stillen sways waiting for install as well. The Z is not my DD only my weekend fun car. I drive very spirited on back-country and mountain roads. Just want a firmer and more planted suspension set-up. Any advice?? I am running Hankook v-12 285/35-19 and 255/35-19 and they seem to stick pretty well for me I'm just getting a little more body-roll than I would like.

If you have springs, look into Tokico struts (the black ones are better than the blue ones). If you wanted to bite the bullet, order a quality set of coilovers. Furthermore, you can replace the bushings on your suspension with bushing from Whiteline. Lastly, look up suspension braces from companies such as GTSpec. After all is done, get the car aligned, you may need front camber arms and a rear camber/toe kit.

Those are just some suggestions.

This may help

A set of D specs and install your sways. Body roll is not really a bad thing, you gain camber as your suspension compresses. Unless your running 900 pound spring and -3.5 camber, you want the camber gain while cornering.

Thanks guys...I really would like some coilovers, but not wanting to put down the money for them right now, so I will give the shocks a try and install my sways

I would not even bother replacing the shocks yet, assuming your Z is of average mileage. Wait till they show signs of weakness, particularly since your springs are installed already
