Default Shock Decisions - Daily and AutoX

Well, my 03 Z is probably in need of a new set of shocks / struts as I'm approaching 90K miles. I purchased the car with lowering springs so it's only a matter of time before the old ones go. I have been doing some AutoX and am planning on continuing and also using the Z as my daily for the time being. So, I'm looking at a set of Koni Sports, Tokico DSpec, or Blues. I realize the latter is non-adjustable, but a cheaper option.

Konis - expensive, established brand, adjustable (impossible to find used)
DSpec - adjustable, cheaper
Blues - Differing opinions, cheapest, non-adjustable

Just trying to get some input and yes I've searched. Thanks guys.

I did d specs once I wouldnt do it again. I rode in a koni car and the setup is worlds better in response with the springs that was on. for you I think bilstiens are a perfect shock.

why not some stance coilovers? you can get them for under 1000 and should be better for autox

I wasn't really planning on coilovers. I've heard anything in the $1000 range for coilovers are budget coilovers and therefore not worth a look. Like Tein Basic. Now I'm not an expert on coilovers, just the word of mouth from what I've been reading on the forums here. Simple generalization that might not apply to them all.

Konis are / were 798 from TireRack.
Bilstein HD were 778 from TireRack.

Why sacrifice the adjustability of the Konis and purchase the Bilsteins for approximately the same price?

Koni vs Stance, are you serious? Maybe the GR2+ but those are not $1k

The Bilsteins look great, but why sacrifice adjustability?

And second, has anyone had adjustables only on the front but not the rear?

I autocross with Koni's and I'm very happy with them.
