Default G37 Stoptechs on a G35?

Hey guys,

I have a set of G37 Stoptech brakes 6\4's running 380mm rotors. Does anyone know if these brakes can fit on a G35 (2004) correctly? I know Stoptech talks about balancing differences between brakes made for a g37 vs g35, and different size master cylinder pistons will I need to worry about those?

I am aware I will need a bracket made for the front brakes and i'm in the process of searching for a place that will do that for me (if anyone knows of a company that can make a quality bracket, let me know) but I just wanted to make sure everything would work correctly before I really get into having these brackets made.

Thanks

would doubt it would fit as the bracket is likely to be different due to the different knuckles. Easiest way to find out is measure bolt hole distance between G35 knuckle and the G37 bracket

for the hydraulics, you would need to do some math to find the ratio of piston surface area between the appropriate G35 kit and your existing G37 kit

people slap on the akebonno's on there g35/350z, and stoptech usually claims of retaining brake bias, so i don't see it having any negative effects. plus the upgraded non brembo brakes on the 06-08 Z's 05-07 G's have just about the same brake bias as the akebonno's.

but honestly i wouldnt go through the trouble of trying to create a bracket unless you're getting them for next to nothing.

Thanks for the help guys!

Unfortunately I already own these brakes though, so I may have to have the bracket made and go from there.
