i searched but all i could find was about disabling VDC.
Is there a DIY on somehow connecting the abs system to a toggle switch to turn on and off?
This would be a very nice feature to have along with my hydraulic ebrake.

I'm not aware of one, it would be nice for use on the track. You could try removing the fuse for it... if that doesn't work unplug one of the ABS sensors, after 200 meters of driving the system will enter failsafe mode and ABS will be disabled, however you won't have traction control either...

 

it'll be cumbersome to pull off the ABS every time i want to pull the hydro ebrake.

If pulling the fuse does work (which I have no idea), you could just splice a switch into one of the wires running into the fuse box there.
