Default Stance Gr+ Pro (Chassis question)

One of my friends told me that going with a true coilover style on our Z will actually have a negative effect on the chassis? Personally I think it makes no sense. He says that since its our chassis was designed to accommodate a separate spring and strut, going with a true coilover will put more pressure on the body when over bumps? I think he's full of **** ive never heard of this ever. Someone chime in. Thanks

Is the rear shock mount point designed to handle the weight of the car, or designed to hold just a damper ? I would say your friend is right.
