Default Stoptech decal and caliper paint

Hey guys,

My stoptech BBK has gone through some extensive heat, conditions etc... the calipers are now dull in color and the stoptech logo is not looking so great either. Now before I request my body shop to paint the calipers I was curious if anyone else has had this dilemma, if so what precautions, advice would you give.

Thanks!

Years later, but hey...

I am also going to have my StopTech calipers refinished. I would suggest ordering the caliper rebuild kit and after they are painted/powder coated I would rebuild them with new seals, etc.

I wish StopTech offered a service for this as it would be awesomely easier to remove the from the car, and send them to be refinished and rebuilt

I just looked into this and asked Zeckhausen Racing if StopTech provided a rebuild service and offered any sort of a paint kit. I bought the seals from Zeckhausen and they emailed me a recommended place that powder coats the calipers. He said the price is reasonable so I'm going to get a quote. Not sure if I get in trouble with the mod's for posting the name of the company they suggested?

Any good local powdercoat shop should be able to handle refinishing the calipers. I had my Brembo's done for $325. The base powdercoat is gold, the high-temp vinyl logos were applied, and finally a clear powdercoat.
