Oh believe me Im on the right track, and will have a good job that suits me best after college, but everyone seems to believe that painting calipers is a permanent action. Seems to me like if I paint stock calipers, I will lose my ability to get a BBK later???

Please show me where I can get big brakes for both front and back all for 1000 USD. I would appreciate that.

Now heres another question, do I have any other options? I simply do not "need" big brakes. I dont race, I dont take my car up to speeds from which I might suddenly have to stop. Are there any brake sets that arent BBK's and that dont cost thousands but still look good enough to show off?

Painting non-Brembo calipers is no bueno.

Save for Brembos or Akebonos instead.

I have blue calipers. Paint it silver or black if you insist. G2 makes quality paint.

Now please get a job and put a righteous, functional brake system
which has been proven by countless others to be exceptional in
terms of performance and value.

The stock brakes are just right for everyday driving and with just a few enhancements they are fine for track use as well. However, if we are talking looks here then the stock brakes look like dog chit and do not need attention brought on to themselves by painting them a flashy color.

Most people will never use them that hard on the the street and if they do they're asking for it.

I actually have two very decent jobs, I had to have two jobs to be able to buy a car like this.

Those links are great, but from what I read, you have to have big aftermarket rotors to put big aftermarket brakes on. Thats precisely the reason why i said thousands of dollars.

I appreciate your opinion on the matter, I just do not agree that Patience = not doing anything to your car until you can drop 2g's on something you wont really use on the streets.

I have not made one hard stop from over 60 mph. Maybe because im scared of killing someone idk, but I only have fun with the car when theres no one around, and all the other times i drive the speed limit and actually slow down when the lights yellow

All Im saying is at the price theyre at, BBK is farther down the road. And even then itll be for my personal satisfaction in the fact that I can spend 2gs on looks of the brakes.
