Default Steering question

What type of Steering does my 2005 Z have. My wife drove it for the fist time and was commenting on the tight steering. It clearly doesnt have power steering. Is this the old rack and pinion steering or some evolved version??

I love it, what a sports car should feel like

Thanks

Yes, you do have power steering. It's tight because it's a sports car. Who wants loose sloppy steering??

Take a look under your hood next time. You should see a power steering fluid reservoir. That would indicate your car has power steering. While you're at it, get yourself the factory service manual, link is in the maintenance forum.
