SPC A Arms question
I am wondering if it is necessary to install the extra shims that came with the kit. It is a ton of extra work and if it is not necessary then I do not know why I should do it. I am not slammed to the ground. I only plan on lowering it a lot while I am at the track, which will only be a few times per year. Any suggestions?

I was on a half inch drop, didn't need the shims.
I did another inch and a half drop today all around.
Getting another alignment tomorrow, not sure if the shim's are necessary.
Hopefully someone else has better info from personal experience.
Yes, I am on coilovers. I am not dropped that much right now. I went from Eibach Sportlines to the coilovers because I got tired of fixing my exhaust constantly. For the track, though, I will be lowering the car quite a bit. If you could let me know what they say I would appreciate it.
Truthfully this is just my opinion. The shims came with the purchase of the A arms. I have a set sitting in front of me right now about to go on my car.
You paid for em. Use em. U may feel now that you're not gonna lower the car that much. cool but I would rather put them all on at one time instead of having to take everything off, put the shims on then put everything back on again should I change my mind.
But that's just me. U paid for em, why not use em. Is it REALLY gonna be that much extra trouble to put em on? no.

I have S-techs and needed them. It's not that much work.. you just have to make sure the speed sensor lines up properly (correct number of washers on it). Otherwise VDC will go nuts (even when off) and eventually you'll have a christmas tree on your dash.

Well I will have to wait a week to install the kit :'( One of the bolts on the A arms are stripped (my fault, grabbed the wrong socket #^&@) So I have to order one from Nissan and I won't have time till next weekend.
I decided I will install the shims. Like mentioned above, I am already under there, might as well.
