Default Coilovers to settle?

Hello,

I just put some D2 coilovers in my car. The ride height looked fine yesterday and I got an alignment and everything already, but I did a quick measurement this morning after driving it on the highway to work and it looked like it was lopsided. When I say lopsided, I mean the right rear is a bit higher than the left rear.

I did a bit of searching online with varying accounts of how long you have to wait for the coilovers to settle before doing an alignment. It looks like I'm gonna have get it done again, but I'd like to know what you guys recommend regarding the time I need to wait before I readjust the height and get another alignment. Thanks!

No actually, I had them on my g35 before I put them on my 350. They've been sitting in my garage for about 2 years.

all you need to do then is adjust the height on the side that needs it - you certainly dont need to align it again unless you're talking about a major difference one side to the other (1 inch +)

the car weighs a different amount left to right, front to back, and the gradient of the pavement you're on makes a huge difference as well

Exactly what I needed to hear. Thanks man. I just took it back to the mechanic and now its perfect. It was only like an 1/8 of an inch off so not too bad.

You want to worry about your toe more than your camber
