I have OEM shocks for sale and am in the east bay if youre interested. also came off a 07.

I have an 07' Solar Orange too! I bought mine with Godspeed coilovers already installed. Not the best choice that the previous owner could have made, but they aren't too bad. I guess I'm not sure what good coilovers feel like, but mine is very stiff. I can feel every bump and rock. I kinda like it. Ha Kinda sounds like blown shocks to me too.

To say it again, "define choppy".

Out of whack rear-end alignment will make you nuts on the highway.

One of your Z's doesn't/didn't have OEM tires.

Yeah, if you drive on some good coilovers you'll know how awful the Godspeeds are. They've got way too much high speed compression damping and too little low-speed. At least that's what I noticed on my friends S14. If you're happy, that's all that matters though.

Just installed Nismo S tune...pretty damn smooth even though it's stiffer.
Takes dips MUCH better and handles rough surfaces very well. Of course the cornering is a TON better.
