Just my .02

Had these springs installed on my stock 30k mile 08 350z and love 'em. the stance is just right and I haven't scraped yet. sorry no useful before/after pics. the alignment is getting done this weekend.
As for the ride quality, if I didn't know the springs had been changed I don't think I would have been able to tell.

I will post pics of its stance tonight. Im sure some will say its not low enough but for a daily driver here in NJ its just right. now I need to get some rims and I'm done. (Who am I kidding)? Lol.

As much as I'm addicted to the acceleration of my Buick Im as hooked on the cornering ability of my Z

It's interesting you mention cornering ability. I am also looking for lowering springs but I am concerned that I will lose some of that control and flexibility in moderate speed turns.

Don't know how much the difference in spring rates of x brand springs would affect it, but it's hard to imagine a lower rate, especially in the rear, would not do so.

Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't have any "scientific" data to back up what I'm feeling while driving but it feels stock going down the road and taking corners. I went with lowering springs in preparation of getting rims. I went with the gf210 specifically for their reputation in ride quality and stance. (Tho I think I'd like to be a little lower)

heres the after pics. a little hard to see but the top of the center of the tire and the highest point of the wheel well opening are pretty much the same height on the fronts, and only a little less so on the rear.

That's what I've read. I'll cross that bridge when it happens. Can you recommend a replacement shock?

I have em and I scrape a little on my driveway but its wretched so I'm pleased. I love the drop. 1 finger up front half finger in back. Sets perfectly and went from minimal body roll to rock solid... Handles like a dream. I do mostly cruising not tracking so its perfect. Ride quality is stiff... stiffer than stock but thats the name of the game right? Love the feel, love the drop, love the handling.. Get those camber arms and get it aligned.. its scary driving after I installed. After the alignment.. I love it. I've never owned coils so I compare to anything. Just say that I love it! Only complaint is in high speed cornering with a bumpy road or notched bridge it can be a little unstable. I just know my limits..

Keep in mind that lowering the car means a lower center of gravity. A slightly softer spring combined with a lower center of gravity can handle just as well as a stiffer spring and a higher COG.

If I had it to do all over again I think I would go the coilover rout. when you factor in the price of springs, installation, and replacement shocks for when they blow its only a "few" dollars more. those D Specs are expensive. are there any cheaper alternatives to the tokico?

The Tokico HP is a good cost effective alternative t the D Spec.
