lowered on tanabe gf210 springs (stock struts, etc.)

it took me about 2 hours considering i did it by myself. like everyone else had stated, the hardest part was cutting the spring mounts, lol.

i didn't take pictures of the cut springmounts but i literally cut as much as i could without the mount being completely flat (hard to describe, hopefully you understand what i mean)

it's honestly not as low as i thought it was going to be.. im not sure if it has to resettle or anything but i think it looks pretty good (until i purchase coilovers)

Here is my car before the mod:

When you say that you cut it to where it was almost flat, you mean you pretty much cut about an inch or so right? I got started on this and my cut ended up being way more than I expected, I still haven't put the mounts back on.

Alright, I'm pretty sure I cut more than an inch. We'll see if it rides like chit or what when I put them back on. If they do then it looks like I'll need to make some calls.

Bump

If the spring mounts aren't cut PERFECTLY flat, could that cause any weird handling characteristics?

No it shouldnt matter. The worst that will happen is your ride height will be slightly uneven.

The Z never sits even anyhow, if I ran drop springs I may use the spring mounts to even out the ride.
