Default Eibach Pro kit to anything else

Yes I've searched and I've read the Suspension 101. I have an 03 Enthusiast that came with the eibach pro kit and a set of 20" TSW rims and 295/30/r20 tires. As it sits I like the drop but I'm looking for more comfort while keeping it around the same height if possible. I know the Pro Kit has a spring rate of 296/384 front and 316/421 rear in progressive form. I'm planning on getting the Tokico D-Spec shocks since the car has over 100K miles, but I cant decide between the Sportlines and the Tokico springs. I'm leaning towards the Tokico springs because they are not progressive and should give me a better ride. On the other hand the Sportlines have and even drop all the way around. I am not sure at the moment if the previous owner put a rear camber kit on the car (I will look tomorrow after work) and I dont know if he did the rear spring mount mod.

My question is which spring should I get for my situation? I am not set on keeping these wheels but if i can get it to work with them i'll keep em.

Thanks in advance for the help.

Part (if not all) of your problem with *comfort* is the 1" difference in SIDEWALL between stock and your tires! 20 rims will always confer a harsh ride. You can set the D specs to softer settings, so that will help some, but don't look to springs for giving you much relief.

Thanks for the quick reply. Yea I'm not a big fan of how big the rims are, but they look ok on the car. I think I'll get the shocks and post up the rims for trade on here and craigslist, then maybe get the Sportlines or Tokico springs later depending on the rims I end up getting.

Yea they are. Didn't realize how important tires are to a comfortable ride till now.

If you go with the Tokico springs you will have to get a front and rear camber kit to get back into OEM spec. With the Eibach not sure how much they lower your car but most likely you will still need to get a camber kit. Either spring should be fine but I personally would go with the springs that are matched to go with the shocks.

Thanks for the advice. I'll check to see if there is already a camber kit on it today.

I have another question now. Would going to a smaller rim and tire setup like the G35 stock 19" rim and tire improve the ride quality? Found a set and was thinking about getting them and using some spacers to get it flush. Any input??

Yes going to a smaller rim will improve ride quality.

OP, there is also a thread on lowering springs that you should reference as well:
