Default Bushings kit?

So i have a blown rear diff bushing, i've decided on the whiteline replacement. Z1 have them i assume?

1) I'm assuming i should replace the front ears as well? Worth it?

2) Do i really need to replace the subframe bushings as well?

3) If so, how much more work is that?

Thanks.

It would save you some money and time to replace both the subframe bushings and diff bushings at the same time. You will have to pull out the diff to do the diff bushings, so you might as well do the subframe. I've done both the energy suspension diff and subframe bushings and they are a great mod. It totally restores the feel of the car. I also installed the rear control arm kit that z1 motorsports sells. They carry every energy suspension or whiteline poly bushing that is made for the Z.

What i wasn't sure of, was the kit for the subframe, for what appears to be 4 mount points, there are an awful lot of parts in the picture and the price seems high ~$150 compared to the diff bushings kit.

Can you get stock bushings from Nissan for the subframe?

I haven't found any guides to removing the subframe, just doing the diff bushings.

Yeah its 4 bushings for the subframe. You probably don't have to replace the subframe bushings they typically do not go bad. The rear diff subframe bushing is the one that does. You have to remove everything to get to the subframe, diff, axles, control arms, brakes, shocks, springs, and toe arms. You can actually lower all of the pieces together as one piece, just make sure you have some help. I have access to a full shop so I was able to do all of the work in a couple of days. It's not an easy job but definitely worth the trouble. The drivetrain becomes so much smoother when shifting and you can definitely feel all of the power being transfered to the rear wheels.

You can get stock rubber bushings to replace the subframe but you might as well do polyurethane so that you will never have to worry about replacing them. Just make sure that you lube them well so that you wont have to worry about them squeaking. Actually I bet Nissan will make you buy the entire subframe, so its actually cheaper to use aftermarket bushings.

Actually you just have to remove the calipers , unbolt the driveshaft, ebrake cables and unbolt the lower shock to get the subframe out. Oh ya, and remove the exhaust. I swapped my whiteline subframe bushings out for the Sikky solids last week.

It is stiffer , I still need an alignment to see how much it changed it, and it's really freaking loud inside. I don't think they are worth it unless it is a dedicated play toy not used on the street much , if any.
