Default bilstein shocks?

I did a search here and on google, but there isn't much review on them. How are they? I have a 2003.5 G35C and would like more info on them(350z and G35 variants). I take they are better performer than that of the stock G35(sport and non-sport) and 350z suspensions or are they more or less the same as stock? Thanks.

Bilstein makes pretty high quality shocks. Are you planning on running aftermarket springs with them?

Maybe stock un-revised 350z shocks, or G35C sport suspension(I have non-sport) springs, which ever I can locate a better deal on. Thanks.

Bilstein shocks are very nice. I don't know that many people run them on Z's but they are very popular on German cars.

How would they compare to the Tokico HPs, or D-specs?

Well I don't really want to lower my car per say, just want to replace my worn out struts with something that will improve handing without really messing with comfort seeing as I have the G35c(non sport). Thanks.

I know the d specs lower an inch ... Un less u buy diff springs.... If u get coils u don't have to lower it ... But u could get it corner balanced and make it handle better

D Specs struts to not lower the car, only springs do. Bilstien , Koni or D Spec you can't go wrong

I know struts don't lower the car, and if I went different springs or went coilovers I don't want a drop more than half an inch. So yeah but back to the product at hand should I go Bilstein or would I be better of with Koni or Tokicos for the price?

I understand that the strut it self doesn't lower the car..... But the d spec ... Strut and spring package .... With the springs provided ..will drop the car an iinch ....

Not that interested in lowering, just want to new shocks that will improve handling(even a little) while not taking away from the ride quality.

D Spec, Koni or Bilstien will all do that. I favor Bilstien for trucks , the others for cars.

Good know. Which will give the most improvement in handling? Is there a place that maybe sells the Nismo shocks(not the full coil over kit)? Thanks

I take Bilstien is known for their truck shocks and not sports car?

so I spoke to a person at one of the parts reseller and they told me that the coupe shocks on the sedan will lower the car. Is that really case? I thought shocks did not. Also is the non-sport coupe the same ride height as the G35 sedan with sports, but they said that's also not the case. I thought it was. Google it, and I got mixed results. I would like to know what the truth is here thanks.

Call that reseller an idiot and never talk to them again. Springs do ride height , unless the shock has an adjustable body (coilovers ) even then the spring is still doing the ride height if set properly.
