Unhappy Having Noise Problems

Hey guys I’m new to this forum. I’m having problems with noise coming from the back of my Z especially when I past railroad track or any bumps on the road. I have changed the rear struts cause I thought it could have fixed the problem but nothing, I put Tokiko blues. I have taken it to different shops and they don’t find any problems. I haven’t taken it to Nissan cause of course they charge an arm and a leg, but if don’t find the problem soon I will go crazy and will have to take it to them. Also I’m getting another noise coming from the air vent (I think?) when I go faster than 60, it just started. My 350z is a 07 Touring with only 48k miles first big issues with it. If anyone has any answers I would appreciate it.

Funny I am having the same issues with my 03 base. I have tracked down my air vent sound, well i thought was an air vent on the passenger side. I am actually hearing the vibration of the battery cover plastic when the since one of the tabs apparently broke off, not sure if this suggestion helps. As for the rear noise like a creek or spring sound, i don't know still trying to figure that one out myself.

One thing I've used in the past on other vehicles is a nice big roll of that blue painter's tape.......what you need to do is systematically cover door and hatch seams, etc until you can isolate the noise. This works great for wind-type noises, whistles across seams and exterior parts, etc. by disrupting the air flow so you can isolate it. For rattles, pop off as many of the interior panels on that end of the car as you can and go for a drive, adding and removing them to isolate the noise.

It's not easy and it sucks. I've got an rubbing sound in the dashboard of my F150 that only occurs on cool mornings......still hunting for it.
