that's actually a different link, your thread is polluting the google search now!

 

Pretty sure a flathead screwdriver and a mallet would be able to achieve the same thing if spanner wrenches are unavailable.

The spanners are the "correct" tool to use though, as the screwdriver method may damage the collars.
