Don't buy a Z based off of wheels you may get...seems stupid imo

Also why go so cheap on suspension? Your gonna have a Z that's tuned/modded up performance wise, but handles like crap?

KW3's won't slam you. MDU's will slam you. D2's will slam you. BCR's will slam you. StanceGR will slam you. PBM will slam you. IN THAT ORDER (of price). MDU's will run you 550ish shipped on ebay. PBMs will run you 1400ish shipped. So, there's your range. You're welcome. You will probably break your car. lol

Also, PBM, Stance, BC, and D2 all offer true coilover (spring over coil) setup and I'd recommend doing that. Don't know about MDU's. But I know swang-n-bang crew outta TX used'em back in like 09.

do a search. Seriously. And BEFORE you do a search, find out what you want from your coilovers. You CAN get a quality coilover for 600bux if all you want to do is slam and cruise. If you want more from it, you will need to up your budget. You go to 1000-1100, you can get a few different things that do both. You spend a bit more, you get away from coils that will slam you and more purpose built equipment like KW and Bilstein. But, for realz, stop looking and stancenation and then hopping on here looking for coilovers. They are literally EVERYWHERE and there's like a gabillion threads on here about coilovers.

PBM height straight out of the box and installed. there is a bit more available adjustment to go lower.
2x4 under the front wheel in order to get the jack out from under the car.

true coilover? Sure. I'd recommend a true coilover as opposed to an OEM style (rear coil and strut are seperate) because of ease on installation and easier adjustment as you don't have to adjust spring and strut.

Also, OP, decide what the car is going to be for. For instance, I wouldn't suggest MDU or D2 if you're going to track your car.

BC is tuneable and rebuildable. I think MDU are too. I know BC are because I've had them on OTHER cars. I just don't like them on the Z/G platform. Stance are also rebuildable. I'll let you know about the D2's if they blow. lol

I'm not saying that coilovers exist for our platform for 300bux. I'm not saying that the cars in this picture are on MDU coilovers. I'm also not saying that these coilovers are MDU. What I AM saying is this entire presentation took me less than 2 minutes

I can install the rears on my car in about 30 minutes, and I have to route the rear reservoirs. It is no easier to adjust (right height I presume you are talking about) an oem set-up vs coil-over.

So, what you're telling me is that it takes you less time to install and adjust two parts than it does one?

Terrasmack, I'm not trying to help. I'm giving him accurate information. But thanks for your imput.

It's actually the same for adjustments. Once you set our shock travel you only need to use preload for ride height adjustments with either true or OEM style setups.

Back to what I said before.
