Default Is this all i need to install new coilovers?

So I was debating whether or not I should have a shop install my coilovers, and decided id rather spend that money on tools and do it myself. Are these the only tools I need to get the job done? Found this diy link, but its for a g35 sedan and wanted to know if the same exact tools/method applies: http://g35nyc.com/forums/showthread....n-installation

factory jack
floor jack
1/2" ratchet (3/8")
misc 1/2" extensions (3/8")
17mm socket
12mm socket
19mm socket
17mm box end wrench
torque wrench

I've installed coilovers on the rear before, and it was fairly easy. But I heard the fronts are a bit harder. Just want to know if these are all the tools I need to get the job done, i don't want to run into any issues while my suspension/wheels are off and I have to run to autozone. Thanks

I used the same write up. Just take your time and have buddy help or standing by to take you to an auto parts store when you need it.

I know you need jackstands and fairly certain you may need a 14mm and 10mm.

Just get a set of wrenches and sockets

unless you are disconnecting the lower arm to allow the shock to come out. If not you'll need some one to help you keep it down, while pulling it out.

Thanks for the great DIY link... doing this in the next couple of weeks (if I can get a stretch with no snow). On base has a spot for DIY, where you can rent an actual lift and make the task a whole lot nicer.

U don't need a spring compressor. Its all super easy stuff. Like said-don't strip anything.

Breaker bar and i used 1 1/2 dia plastic pipe to make the bar longer for any stiff nuts...you will also need deep sockets in the sizes mentioned...pretty easy with the right tools . enjoy !

+1.

Nothing about the job is HARD. Only issue you may run into is removing parts that haven't been used in YEARS if your Z has some age on it. If I remember correctly it took me MAYBE an hour total to do my D2's. But that's because I had to fab up a brake line clamp. On the BC's I didn't need to do that so it was less time. I also had a lift for both. But, doing them without it isn't much different. I help my buddy put his on and it took us just under 2 hours.
