Default Bent (something) issue.

Here's the low down..there's something wrong with my passenger rear suspension. A year ago I had a hydroplaning accident that sent me slidding in front of a semi, across the median, into the other 2 lanes of the interstate, and back into the median where I came to a messy stop. After being towed out, and new tires put on as the skidding rendered both rear tires bald, I limped my way back home. I got my car fixed up, or so the body shop that my insurance recommended told me.

My rear camber and tow was off by .5 for the rear right tire, but I thought nothing of it. It seemed to drive normal. However, a year later I'm headed to the "tale of the dragon" with some friends in Tennessee and I begin to notice the car isn't taking the turns on the winding road going to tennessee properly, kind of has a sway to it, pulls a little. Having the life time alignments at firestone, they confirmed that all 3 other tires are good to go; however, the right rear is now off on it's tow by -1.48. (min is .04 max is .12)
And I can feel a sever drift when I am going above 60. The car then went back to the shop for a diagnostics and they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. All of the measurments added up, and nothing was bent visibly.

So now I turn to you, they are recommending new steering knuckle or a control arm. Or an aftermaket camber kit. I would rather find the issue so it will not continually get worse. With that being said, Have any of you gents/ladies run into any this sort of issue? And/or, do you know of a full coilover kit that would replace all of the stock support parts?

if toe is out you would need a new traction bar.

http://www.zspeedperformance.com/KIN...-TRAC-ARMS.htm

or a combo for traction / camber
http://www.zspeedperformance.com/Kin...Z-G35-RCTP.htm

Thats just an example. there are tons of choices and depending on budget / performance goals there are allot of choices you can make.

if you toe is -1.50 I would not drive the car, your gonna eat through that tire like nothing and its not safe.

Just to close out the thread. The car was taken to a different shop. One I actually trust instead of the one who did the repair work a year ago.. They said it was the knuckle that was bad, and should be in repair today.
