Default How to remove stock rear brake line that connects to caliper??

When I tried to remove the stock rear brake line this afternoon to switch to stoptech ss line, I found there are 2 inlets to the caliper? I learned how to install ss from videos and DIY threads, but never heard someone mentioned this. I attached two pics and red circled the 2nd "inlet". Does anyone know what is it? and what should I do with it?? Thanks.

Turn the bolt till it comes out , you will figure the rest out shortly.

The little extra piece you are seeing there serves to index the banjo bolt and keep it in position; it keeps the fitting aligned a certain way. Remove the bolt and it'll come off. You'll see that it's just an "L" shaped piece of metal that fits in a dead-end hole.

FYI use claw wrench so you don't risk stripping
