Default H-tech and tire size

Hey everyone have 2 quick questions-
I could not find an answer when searching-

Im getting Tein H-techs on my 03' touring with Koni yellows-
Not interested in dropping the car and dont want coil overs-

1) Will i have any rubbing issues with current tire setup ; 245/40/18f & 275/40/18r ? I dont think i will- just want to be sure

2)Is that rear spring mod necessary? Again, I just want to leave the car as close to stock height as possible.

Thanks for answering another question I am sure has been asked 1 million times.

1) you shouldn't do, I've got 265/40/18 at fronts and 285/40/18 at my rears on nismo s-tune and now HKS coils and its still not rubbing
2) rear spring mod would just make the rear lower and depending on the spring it could be more level

lol ^^^ i can see that...Guess it helps to fill in background info for the curious- My car history has involved cars dropped 2-3.5 inches.

To me- I dont count a drop anything 1" or less. Yes it is lowering the car but under an inch usually does not require camber kits.

Although I have SPC control arms up front....

Seems I have ventured away from springs and shocks/struts and going with a coil over kit now anyway. I usually did not have good luck with springs and shocks/struts in the past and always ended up with coilovers anyway.

BTW: I was wondering when someone would chime in.... lol

How do you like the SPC camber control arms up front?

I have the S Tech's with a 19x11 +18 with a 285 35 and I don't rub.

I wouldn't d.o the H tech though. I was torn between the two and I got a good deal on the S Tech's so I bought them. Its the perfect drop for me. Im like you Im not looking to slam it, but I think you'll be disappointed with the H's
