Default Brembos Painted

Hey guys... So my OEM brembos came with the stock gold pretty much peeling off. I wanted to paint them red but it seems overdone and with my red car it might be too blended in.

So I decided to paint them white with red lettering. Yay or nay?

Excuse the dirty car it is too low to go up my driveway to wash myself and I couldnt go to a car wash since I had just applied the brembo decals.

Looks good, but doubt that will last. They'll be black with the first hard braking haha

I like the white. It's a good contrast to red compare to any colors out there IMO. Calipers being dirty isn't a problem if you wash your car often enough and don't let the brake dust build up for weeks/months.

I have been driving on them a day and you can see the brake dust on the wheels, but the calipers not as much as you would think. I will be getting my racing hart j8 wheels back which are a dark gunmetal so the brakes will show up better I think.

looks good. shouldnt be too much of an issue with brake dust on the calipers. wheels will have the problem with the dust.

Meh. I think light silver with red lettering would have looked better on a red car but points for DIY modding!

Why don't you go for blue, similar in color to the blue that Endless use with white Brembo stickers. I've seen someone paint their Brembo's blue and they looked really hot. Plus you won't have the trouble you'll have keeping white callipers clean.

Never seen the stock brembos peel...only turn brown from heavy track use (aka brownbos)

But the white looks ok until they start to get brake dust on them and then the white pigment starts to yellow from the heat...

How bout pewter metallic next time with gold lettering

Well previous owner had these stupid wheels which had credit card clearance with the brembos... I suspect a little nick started it all...

This is my favorite color combination - hoping to have it done soon to the set I've got for my carbon silver car:
