Brake fluid reservoir filter?
I borrowed a brake fluid tester to test for moisture content in my brake fluid before rolling out to zdayz. However, I haven't found a way to remove the filter in place under the brake fluid reservoir cap and the reservoir itself.
I could get ahold of it with pliers, but I wanted to check with you all and make sure I'm not missing something obvious.
Thanks in advance!

The testers that I have seen only require like a drop of brake fluid. You can use bulb syringe to get enough fluid out without having to remove the filter. They can be found in the baby department at Target or something...

First off, you'd be better off starting a new thread, rather than resurrecting a six-year old one. But to answer more directly, I use my thumb and forefinger to reach in, twist the filter slightly and remove it. Once the plastic filter moves slightly, it usually isn't difficult to pull directly out of the master cylinder. I'm not afraid of getting silicone brake fluid on my fingers for a short time.
