Default Lowering the Z

I bought a z a few months ago .. It has 20" wheels on it .. Can someone let me know if it's possible to lower it without having any problems? Or are the wheels too big.

Offset, width and tire size needed to determine drop potential. You could run 18's with a larger overall diameter than a set of 20's with really low profile tires. But yes, you should be able to drop, you would just need to ensure you can drop without rolling fenders first.

Take to wheel and tire shop, have them see how far you can go down, make sure you have appropiate parts for this mod, camber arms, traction arms, toe bolts, etc. to keep your alignment within OEM spec. I think on 20s though you can only drop like 2 inches at the most with a fender roll.

20" wheels are a problem in and of themselves

Well, if you have the proper sized tires on your homie sized SUV wheels, you can lower it the same as a Z rolling on 17. Properly sized tires for 17 inch wheels to 20 inch wheels will all have the same outside diameter.

Offset , is another big factor that can come into play.
