Question Qusetion about Brembo

I have a Nissan 350Z(touring) and my friend wants to sell Brembo four piston calipers and rotors, front and rear, from a 2001 Porsche Carrera. Do calipers and rotors fit my 350Z?

The calipers may work. You will need a bracket/adapter to get the caliper to fit on the Z. Maybe a machine shop in town can make something for you.

The rotors won't work: the holes for the lugnuts and the hub... the 350Z is 5x114.3 and the Porsche is something like 5x120. And, the hub opening may not be the correct size for the Z... the Z is something like 55mm... no idea what the Porsche is.

Another thing to consider is that the piston size inside the Porsche caliper is designed for a Porsche master cylinder, not a Nissan 350Z master cylinder. The Nissan MC may not be able to push enought fluid against the larger piston area that is likely to come from the Porsche calipers.

You are better off buying a Stoptech 4-wheel kit, or finding someone with Track model Brembos who is selling...

Hope that helps,
