Default Pad Preference for Brembos

Well I went to get the Z inspected and the front pads are getting low (I will need some in about a month).

This is the first time I have had to put pads on the Z and for this fact, brembo brakes.Im just looking for preferences on which pads you guys run on your Z. Basically Im just looking for a decent pads that arent going to empty the bank but one of my concerns is brake dust (my last pads just loved to turn my wheels black) so if you guys have any preferences throw them out there.

Thanks, Craig

Yeah I wont be doing any kind of racing its only my DD. Thanks for the advice. Do some sites have the oem pads cheaper than others? I see conceptZperformance has front pads for $185.65.

And I only need front pads right now BTW

That's all you need for the street. $85 for all 4. Been running them on mine for nearly a year without any problems. They're quiet and bite plenty for street driving.

Thanks for that link. Those pads are really cheap. Do they actually have little dust like they advertise?

For a little more, you can have EBC redstuff pads.

What would be the benefit of them?

Very grippy, hot or cold. Almost no dust, no noise. They have a break-in coating to clean the old pad residue off the rotors, which helps with bedding in. Long-lasting.

Do you have a specific site that you get them off of?

Those definitely look like a better pad than the other ones but do cost a little more. I really like the surface coating idea

Definitely low dust on the posi quiet pads. Really have to drive the car a good while with stop and go traffic over several days to really see any kind of dust buildup

Well thanks for the advice guys. Both of the pads seem like they will suit me so I will probably end up with the centric quiet ceramic simply because they are cheaper.

Its only worth it if you can afford it, you want cheap performing and long lasting pads and those three things dont go together with brake pads on a Z.
