Eibach pro springs not lowering car
I installed a set of Eibach pro springs on my 2004 coupe. The ride height did not change yet. The top coils of the springs have clear rubber sleeves on them. Should these be removed to allow the springs to compress further? Also along with the springs, I installed a set of Bilstein shocks, SPC rear toe bolts and SPL adjustable lower link and front SPC upper control arms. I checked the rear to make sure that the lowering part of the springs were setup correctly in the spring bucket as well as the top boot. I also checked to make sure the front springs are set correctly in the spring mount of the struts. I realize that I should allow the springs to settle in before havnig an alignment done, but I thought I should see some drop after1 day. The front and rear springs are installed so that you can read Eibach on the springs right side up. Any help is appreciated.
OK, thanks! I installed the springs so that you can read Eibach on the springs without readig upside down. I believe this is the correct. I don't think the firmer Bilstein dampers are having an affects on the car not dropping. But I guess it may take more time. Maybe I should just keep the garage door closed for a couple weeks and then check in!
Youre correct in that dampers wouldn't cause the car to sit any particular way. Unlike springs (which exert a force relative to how much the spring is compressed), dampers exert force relative to how fast they are being compressed.
To mirror what others have said just wait for them to settle.

Just an update - - The Eibach springs have settled and I had the car re-aligned. Great ride height. Also the other suspension component mods made it possible to get the car back into alignment: front SPC adjustable upper control arms, rear SPL adjustable lower link, and rear Toe bolts.
