Default Ball joint removal press?

Where can I find a ball joint removal press/adapters that fit our front lower ball joint (the one on the knuckle). I think it needs a 2 3/8 adapter. The 2 1/4 that comes with most kits is just barely too small. I was gonna rent from o'reillys but none of their kits fit. It seems like it's a kind've non-standard size that we need. It doesn't help that a lot of the kits online don't list the specific sizes included either..

TIA

edit:
will a 2 3/4 work or is that too big?

YES 2-3/4" will be to big- it rides up in the curve of the spindle near the ball joint so you cannot get a solid press...dont jack up your car until you get the right size...I wasted 2 hours so everyone doesnt have to: 2-3/8" (NO LESS) or 2-7/16" works

Anyone? It's really stupid how these kids don't have sizes. Even the manuals for Astro kits don't list sizes. They just have a table for the specific car they should be used on.

Will probably have to get it cut, but there are website your can order a specific length or go to a metal yard or someplace that sells metal and see if they will sell you a short piece. Just remember proper inner diameter and it only needs to be a few inches to clear the top of the ball joint maybe 2 inches?

www.mcmaster.com is a great place to order raw materials.

The kits from advance auto parts or whatever don't have something that size? I have used them before on other applications, and with 20+ pieces of pipe in different sizes I have to think there was something in there that would fit.

advance auto is the only place aaronhl found that had the right size, but we don't have AA in hawaii. Only oreilly's and their kits do not fit.
