Default Kinetix Adjustable A-Arms (Any Prep, Before install) ?

I ordered:

Kintetix Adjustable Front Upper-A-Arms
http://www.z1motorsports.com/350_g35...oducts_id=2168

Because my passenger side won't go into alignment spec for the front. It's off by 1.2 degrees.

My question is ,.. I am having these installed,.. and I've seen some other people report that they installed and put Half a ping pong ball over some end of it.. one guy a medicine cap bottle top he modified over that piece.. etc. What's is that piece/area that needs that "covering" and what's the best/easiest thing to do about it.

But moreover -- I've read that these things generally start squeaking early on.. few weeks.. few thousand miles at most.

So, I thought maybe putting some White lithium grease in certain spots before I hand them over to the installer would be beneficial?

Or can all this be done without removing the wheel after they are installed?

Thanks,

The V1 arms needed the ping pong mod. Hopefully, you have the V2 arms that came with black boots to correct the issue:

Can't get any better than they fixed it in the design..

But just for hypothetical sake.. Let's say these arms start making noise down the line.. Are they easy to self lube? Wheels need to be removed to do so?

Just some spray on white lithium grease? Or some gun of some sort?

Thanks guys.

They have grease fittings on them, just pull the wheel and put a grease gun on the fitting.

I put anti seize paste on all the threads, zip tied the rubber boot ends to the thread rod, and lubed the bushings real good. These are the best a arms available and are so easy to adjust.
