Default steering binding and rotational rubbing

OK so i spent about all day yesterday searching for some answers and didn't find anything conclusive so here is the problem i'm having.

when making a hard right (80*+) the car will have its steering lock/bind momentarily on entry/mid corner. I found this out the hard way when i was going on the exit of a highway (25-30 mph) I've also noticed (again only turning right) on slight easy curves that it will have some pedal feel / body feel like something is rubbing in a rotational grind (more like a bearing than a brake shield) and almost like it has a high/low spot.

Car info:
06 RevUp 350z
base 6mt
strup headers
ART pipes
stillen true dual.
Hotchkis Sways

Admittedly I hadn't noticed this until i put on the sways. but having checked the sway bar links and bushings for tightness i haven't seen any marks / issues on the wheels / tires.

someone said that it could be the header hitting the steering shaft? others said wheel bearing (but i don't have any noise during driving/acc/dec) or lateral play when its up in the air on a lift.

anyone had any ideas? history with this? thanks in advance. -JM

If ur steering knuckle is hitting something close by it would b scratched or divoted. My intercooler piping almost has a hole from the steering knuckle touching it. I'm getting a new one

I would check the steering shaft and headers carefully for any evidence of contact as the first step if it was my car.

I'll be putting it on a rack again tonight. I'm checking the caliper slide pin / interference with the header and steering shat as well.

i don't see any evidence of damage on the wheel / knuckle when i checked last night But i'll be sure to double check that as well

I would look for contact being made with your headers too....Just another idea...
