Which Springs to get? So confused?
I'm looking to make up my mind on some springs very soon. However everything I keep reading just adds more choices. I've narrowed them down to the following.
H-Tech Tein
S-Tech Tein
Eibachs
RS-R
The H-Tech and the RS-R are the 2 I like most, since they only lower .6" I'm not looking to go too low. I've learned that the RS-R's are linear and seem to be a nicer option since I have an 2004 without the bouncing problem. I would greatly appreciate a picture of someone's Z with the RS-R or the H-Tech with stock 18's.
I know the Eibachs and the S-Tech drop more, but I'm concerned I'll sacrifice too much ride comfort since my car is a daily driver. I just want to close the tire to fender gap as much as I can without having to worry about speed bumps and driveways.

If you want to go with springs only...
Id say TEIN first... then Eibach...
TEIN's seem to be very well balanced for the Z... Very nice ride either with S-Tech or H-Tech versions...
TEIN S-Tech have a heavier spring rate at 386 on the front and 402 on the rear. .7 drp in the front and .6 in the rear. Much nicer ride then stock while retaining the road hugging sporty feel.
TEIN H-Tech have a lighter spring rate, their Luxury springs... 358 in the front at 375 in the rear. A more smoother more "floaty" ride but still hugging the pavement. a .3 inch drop in the front and .2 in the rear. If you own a Z and just want a better ride. Go for these...
EIBACH Pro Kit... 1" drop all around, you will replace your shocks faster since they will wear more. ride is a bit harsher then the S-Tech's...
now... if you want to go up a level...
Tein Basic Coilover - The ride is very smooth and very secure... 503 spring rate front and rear and full height adjustment shocks... cost is a bit more then just doing the springs.. but, if you do the springs only you will be replacing the shocks soon after and bring you above the cost of the basics...
Tein CS - their dampning adjustable coil over with a very plush ride... if you get this suspension i recomend getting adjustable sways like teh Stillen / Eibach and the EDFC (electronic damping force controller) because you will want to put it on the stiffest setting all the time.
TEIN FLex - a little harder ride then stock but with the EDFC unit you can go out and not bump around your passangers head putting it on a soft setting...
botht he CS and FLEX suspensions are full height adjustable and include pillow ball mounts for reduced road noise and suspension noise... a HUGE improvement over stock....
doing only springs alone... or even the Basic or FLEX suspension you will find your turns have less body roll... totally changes the car to an even more of a sport car handling...
