I'm trying to bring some life back into my 2006 350z. I have 140K on the car and never touched the suspension. It's a street car, and i don't care for comfort. I have about 4 grand to play with. Also just put new tires on the car- 245/40/18, 275/40/18 "Hankook Ventus V12 evo K110 XL".

Planned Suspension upgrades:

Tein Street Basics Coilovers - 866$ - I was told it would be a good idea to replacing my struts/springs at this mileage. I'm not really looking for a drop or anything, but if it makes a drastic difference i'm all for it. I picked this solely on the price. Advice welcomed

SPC front and rear camber kit -509$- Because getting the coilovers

Whiteline F&R sways with SPL endlinks or Hotchkis sways - Seems like just a price difference besides picking a hollow or solid bar.

+ Alignment.
+polybushes?

Anything I should add on that would make a drastic difference?

 

hotchkis sways, alignment, poly rear diff bushing, also a 255/40 up front would have been better....

If your Z is used primarily for the street, I wonder why you would want coilovers? Replacing your used shocks with some Koni Sports or Bilstein replacements will make a huge difference. Your OEM springs won't wear out and provide a good balance of handling, ride comfort and ground clearance. You'll only need to do an alignment once with the non-adjustable ride heights and a good shop will get them spot-on. No need for camber kits, as the car won't need it. Adding sway bars with new bushings will really help your transient handling, but I'd suggest non-adjustable bars unless you know how to properly adjust them (and are going to the track).

Just don't overdo it, some of the stuff you're worrying about isn't critical to upgrading your suspension.

 

The LCA bushing and compression arm bushings , new shocks and those sway bars will be a huge difference. No need to swap to coilovers unless you want racetrack performance or to slam the car.
