Default powergrid endlinks review

I installed my powergrid endlinks recently,

When I had OEM endlinks on my hotchkis sway bars, ====> lots of clunking, and squeeking sounds, the endlinks have 100k on them....

When I drove and turned I heard the squeek and clunk so I was a little afraid of turning corners at high speeds with that sound.

I installed the powergrid endlinks because

1. no more clunking, squeeking sounds
2. strangely the steering wheel feels really tight now I actually have to use both my hands to turn the steering wheel, I don't know if its the characteristics of the endlinks or the mechanic torqued it like crazy....
3. turn at highspeeds with confidence.

Overall they are pricey...... 160 (front pair) + 160 (rear pair) = 320 + 50 Install = 370....

There should be no difference in turning the wheels between the two unless they were set to bind badly.

Agreed. What sway bar hole are you on in the front? Did your mechanic adjust the end links under load or with the tires hanging?

he lifted my car up in the air with the tires hanging and installed all of the endlinks,

Was this not correct? I have 30 days to come back to tell him to fix it....

Ideally it should be done with the wheels loaded so there is no preload on the bar. If he at least matched the stock length, then this would be very irregular. You didnt slam it right after did you lol

Do you mean you have to crank the wheel with effort more? You might just be perceiving the increased roll stiffness at the steering wheel. Does the wheel have the tendency to want to center itself when unwinding the wheel more now?

And you didnt say what setting theyre on...

Yeah endlinks are supposed to be installed with suspension loaded. Best if done on a 4 post lift.
