Thumbs up KW Variant 3 Coilovers brief review

Got my KW Variant 3 coilovers from MSM racing last Friday, and installed them at local shop today. Steve at MSM racing is a great guy to deal with. He was very responsive and answered all my questions. The whole buying process was a breeze. I highly recommend them. Took about 4.5 hours including adjusting height and stuff. Installation cost was about $300.
The quality was outstanding. Had a very nice stainless steel finishings, and that oil reservoir looked really good

Impression: Since it's still winter in Indiana, the road condition is really bad right now with all kinds of sands and salts, and I had to let the systems sit for a while to settle it down, so I couldn't push my car that hard.
However, ride quality definitely got better to my taste, that bouncy ride people used to complain was almost gone. Also, I tried a quick 90 degree turn and the front end kicks into the corner one tempo faster than the stock. I'd say, the car became a lot more reponsive. Roll and pitch during the cornering and braking also reduced quite a bit. So far, I love this coilovers!!
Can't wait until spring comes and get my new rims so that I can push this sucka all the way to the edge!

Again, I give my props for MSM racing for providing me a outstanding service and outstanding product!

After installation.
Note: the picture was taken at the lowest height setting.
Mechanic at the shop started from the lowest, and then heightened them up each side to match the desired height level.
Don't know how much it got lowered from stock but after I heightened them up, it sat about 1.5 inches lower than stock I guess.

They are sold by MSM Racing at $1850. I got a little better deal since I am one of the first customers who got KW's in the Z

Sean, good looking setup. I knew you would like them. I'm happy you are satisfied. Let me know if you need anything else.

Now, if that snow would just go away!

ooooooohhhhh dang that looks really sickkkkk. Dude i want!! it makes me want to save ive heard so many good things about KW over the years. A lot people who drive high end german cars install them. very popular with Bimmers. I hear they are an awsome street setup one of the best for comfort and performance. i hear the performance is sick too if you set it up. it depends on the stiffness.
