Guidance on alignment please
Hey guys - I've done all the searching I could and read and re-read JasonZ's post on suspension, and I'm still a bit lost when it comes to getting an alignment done on my Z. Would really appreciate any guidance.
The car is a 2008 350Z, lowered on Eibach Pro-Kit, with Eibach camber arms and toe bolts installed. The car has 18" wheels wrapped in 275's on the rear and 255's up front (F: 18x8.75 +20 / R: 18x9.75 +20). With this setup, am I OK to just get a regular alignment done at a tire shop, or should I provide them with alignment specs outside of what the factory specs are? If so, any suggestions on camber/toe specs I should be within? The car is a daily driver. Thank you

Generally speaking, factory specs are fine for street/DD. A little negative camber (1-1.5 max) for performance usage is fine, just don't go overboard so as to keep your tires happy.
I deviated to -1 (extra degree out back) - a good compromise that has helped plant my rear 275s nicely with no appreciable added wear.
But then, I have three sets to alternate between so who can tell?

Tell them you want factory specs, with front toe on the minimum end of the spectrum (closer to zero). Tell them you want a printout, and to review it before they put your car down.
If at all possible I recommend developing a rapport with the actual tech who is performing the alignment, chances are he likes cool cars as well.

Factory specs rear , run -1.7 to -2 out back and that is within spec. Then match the front camber to the rear, this will keep you from wearing out the outside of the tires when you play , and give less understeer
