Default Better spring rates for HKS Hipermax RS?

So I currently have HKS hipermax RS (previously also had JIC and Tein). I ended up putting bags on them and currently still am on the bag setup. I drive the car at stock ride height and rarely ever drop it these days, so I am considering putting springs back on them and running at almost stock height.

The HKS 8k/8k setup was ok but a little soft for my taste and felt close to OEM. I also have a set of swift 14k springs that would fit the front and a set of 10k rear springs with perches from Tein Flexs'. Would that work as a good combo and would it work ok with the Hipermax RS? I have read through threads all day about spring rates but there is not much info about the HKS coilovers, it seems not many people have them.

Current suspension mods:
HKS Hipermax RS
custom bag setup
full ES bushings
Ichiba front camber arms
spc rear camber arms
spc toe bolts
stillen sways(setting: max front, mid rear)
work gnosis gs3 19x10 +20 square setup on crappy 265/30 tires

Thanks in advance.

You can try, but your shocks are not valves for that stiff of a spring

Yea I figured that would be an issue. May need to get them revalved and rebuilt by FEAL if I go that route if its even worth it. is that spring setup ideal if the shocks are valved properly?

Brought the car from Hawaii and we did not have a track open there for years, but may start trying to track the car here in Colorado now that there are tracks available.

No spring rate is actually idea, every combo you give up something to achieve something else. For track use, I typically recommend a 12/12 combo. That is the same as the Nismo T2 spring combo, then adjust from there as you figure out what you need.

Honestly , if you have never really tracked, just install the 8/8 combo and drive. It's still stiffer than stock, and stock is really not bad for track use.

Thanks! I really liked the feel of the JIC's but the top mount cracked so I ended up selling them. it was a 10k/8k combo I think. I went with what I have because I liked the staggered feel and figured the 14k/10k might feel a little better.

Hi I have HKS Hipermax RS coils, I don't like them because it wont let me go any lower in the rear. Would I have to get new springs?
