Default TEIN coilover repair

has anybody got experience with the price for a repair at TEIN for a coilover, like total cost including shipping, google gives various answers, and contacted tein and seems to be very inconclusive, you send the coilover THEN they tell you how much it MIGHT cost and if you tell them to go ahead, it might end up costing more. Or does anyone has a tein coilover front-driver's side for sale?

Thanks

The reason no estimate can be conclusive is that the coilover will have to be completely disassembled before a full assessment can be made. On a racing damper like my Konis (with no external damage), simply rebuilding a single unit will run a couple of hundred dollars for new seals. But if the internal damage is greater, so will the cost. Good luck finding a single unit for sale that's in good condition- you're better off sending your blown unit in for repair or just buying a new one.
