Default Broken bolt on rear Brembo.

Just ordered a set of used Brembos to put on my 07 Enthusiast. When I unpacked them I found that one of the bolts that holds the brake tube bracket on the left rear caliper is broken off at the head. Image below.

My question is this: Does this bolt do anything other than hold the bracket on? If it just holds the bracket on, I'll just drill it out and replace it.

But if it also holds something together internally then I'm not going to mess with it and I'll send them back. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

All the pictures of removed OEM rear Brembos show a bracket on the back that hard brake tubing bolts to. The fronts don't appear to have a bracket.

Anyway, I removed the other bolt and it is just a shallow bolt that holds the bracket on and nothing more, so no big deal.

The bolt has a blind hole, so it won't leak fluid and it's there (as mentioned) just to hold the bracket for the OEM lines. If you use aftermarket lines, i.e. StopTech, you wouldn't need the bracket anyway.

I've got a set of Z1 Motorsports stainless steel lines configured just like the OEM Brembo configuration so I will be using the bracket. I drilled out the broken bolt but when I did the Craftsman bolt removal bit broke off and lodged in the bolt. To get all that out I ended up damaging the threads of the hole. The one good bolt seems to be holding everything in place just fine but I might try to heli-coil the hole to get another bolt in there.
