I don't see any body kits with no seams.... I see all the normal seams fully in tact.

I just want better than factory springs and struts. Looks like I might have found a nismo setup. The guy is getting me the info from what car they came off of. 550 for springs and struts if I want them.

Sorry to hear about your nuts, mb if they got worked more often it wouldn't be a problem
I keed.
I used an impact to get everything off. I only disconnected the 3 bolts on top and the one at the bottom... I pushed down on everything with a big *** spreader...

Can't beat a nice set of nismo suspension and should be exactly what your looking for...

Best looking 1st gen touring edition wheels ive seen... Makes me want to polish mine up.

There is a wings west body kit molded to the body but that picture doesn't show it that good. I'm going to go back to a normal look soon. I'm trying to find a nismo front and rear bumper and new sideas skirts. I'm going to change the paint to a nisland black with blue pearl in the clear. Same color I'm doing my custom fiberglass door panels.

Nismo was only made in 07-08... But the suspension would work on all years.

Not sure what you're asking about the sway bars but FYI, there's no difference between "regular" Z and Nismo Z sway bars.

Quick way to tell if shocks are OEM Nismo are a couple of things: Nismo/Yamaha-Tokico shocks are a unique color (silver vs. black) and the springs are red (but then, so are a number of aftermarket springs). So, use the part nos....

Fronts

Rears

It should be noted that the accessory S-Tune ("parts counter aftermarket) Nismo shocks have different numbers on them and have the Nismo logo on them (but may have been worn off since they're just stickers).

So on a nismo model if u wanted to swap the struts out what would u buy as an upgrade? Is it the same options as non nismo z. Like Konica or bilstien struts for non nismo still the way to go. Thinking about replacing the struts.

Nismo comes from the factory with upgraded struts made by tokico. When they are shot you need to get new oem nismo or just upgrade the same as anyone else would.

Or downgrade if that's your cup of tea

Well, IMO, if you're swapping springs out, it's logical to swap the shocks to put something in that will work well with the springs. I'm very big on engineered systems rather than believing I can out think the suspension engineers. Sure, it's entirely possible to put in a working system by piecing it all together, springs from company A, shocks from company B (I have this set up now and it works fine but I started with a co-engineered system (Bilstein/Eibach B12 ProKit) which was a better set up), but not optimized like a "synchronized" system.

In the case of a Nismo, as implied by Mike, above, the only thing I'd upgrade to would be Bilstein PSS9/10 or KW-V3 for the fully adjustable capabilities (height, compression, rebound); however, Bilstein won't work for YOUR application since you only want about .5" lowering. These START with a -30mm lowering and go lower.

KW-V1,2,3 start at about -10mm lowering and go lower from there down to about -40mm

So if I paired these with my nismo springs you're saying it would be a bad idea?

Not at all.... you asked what one would upgrade to ON A NISMO.

If you re-read my post, you'll note I said I had Bilstein. I personally think they're the best street shock available. That will be a good pairing.
