Default 370z Springs on 03 350z.? Good idea ?

I have a 03 350z and want to drop my car no more than .5 of an inch and want to make them little stiffer like around the nismo range. My idea is to use factory 370z ones but not finding much info on if this can be done or even tried. If that's a no go I have looked in to both tein models and not sure I'm really sold on them. I wish h&r sold there oe sport model for are cars.

Check the spring loading.

You can easily lower the car with eibach pro kit.

The Z34 has a shorter wheelbase than the Z33 and different spring rates for optimum ride and handling. As for lowering your '03 Z by 0.5", using Z34 springs will not help. You're better off looking at a coilover setup, than a Eibach prokit. Although it's less extreme than other Eibachs, it still drops the car by more than an inch.

Did not read the part where he only want .5 drop. My bad.

Anyrate, a good set of springs and shocks will be better than cheap coils. Pretty sure there are springs that only drops .5. Cant think of any off the top of my head, but theyre out there

I did Eibach Pros last month. More coils, more planted over rough terrain. It's roughly 1", my favorite $250 mod so far.

i had and loved the pro-kits, swapped to them from the s-tech

the s-tech is a good riding spring but not best for spririted driving

How did you get the front struts out? Did you disconnect the sway bar? Mine was a real pita and I just got out the grinder and made them play my game.

My Massachusetts nuts are a bit crustyer than your Georgia nuts, I dont remove them if I can help it.

Thank u guys for all the reply's.. I will put more info in to this. I have a custom body kit on this car that has no seams and I can't drop it more than .5 max but I want a stiffer than factory spring. It's a late 03 model so I here those are the worst for every thing. I'm going to go with bilstiens struts and shocks. Koni asks to much for them. Really I drive her hard but not on the track that much.

The Hotchkis springs should be perfect for what you want.

Different front motion ratio, won't work well. Struts are also different

What awful pictures on that group for advertising

Also when you say molded I assume the front/rear bumpers were molded

So you just want a stiffee ride? A drop doesnt gurantee stiff ride. Its all about the rating.

Yes, d/c sway with torque wrench. The A arm bolts were more of a PITA bc I couldn't get my socket in there, so box wrench forever. ..

Sorry to hear about your nuts, mb if they got worked more often it wouldn't be a problem
I keed.
