Anybody know where can I get the oring that sits in between the caliper? I had a shop took it apart to get the caliper powercoat but he lost the oring where the fluid pass.
I did some searching but wasn't successful. Did try this from someone mentioned here. http://www.mcmaster.com/#9464K113
The shop said is too thick
Any help would be great
You shouldn't have cracked the calipers to begin with, and you may have problems since the pad guides have been powdercoated over. Before you put them back together, pull the pad guides out and strip them so the pads have proper clearance. Did this shop have prior experience with this sort of work? You also don't want the powdercoat on the surfaces that join the two halves together, because the O-rings won't compress properly and you'll have leaks. Sorry, but that's some half-@ssed quality work.
ya. my mechanic friend said that's one shitty job. He spent a couple hours cleaning it up.
I tried A1 Cardone. They wont sell me the 0-rings.
On the good side. I found the brembo o-rings fits. Which I was able to buy. Made me feel whole lot better. http://knsbrakes.com/c/item/37388_Br...ss+Over+O-Ring
Pretty expensive for an o-ring.
The rebuild kit should have the O-Rings.
If it's the oem Brembo's then most vendors here or courtesy Nissan should carry them.
On a side note, I have an extra rebuild kit if you're interested.
They dont. I purchase front and back rebuild kit from z1 motorsport. Is not park of their rebuild kit. I went to nissan dealer. It isn't on their system as a part you can order.

After so much research and trying to source these I have found them. Follow the link and it should lead you to the part. Additionally David at Zeckhausen was a great help in supplying information about torque specs for putting the halves back together. I recommend to stick with 30/35 lb-ft on the M8 bolts because it’s a little sketchy where they could sheer. I’m a little afraid to do the 50 lb-ft on the bigger bolts. Just for some peace of mind I got 12.5 grade zinc coated bolts. I personally haven’t done it yet but plan to over the weekend just wanted to share this for all the guys who were scared their Brembos went to waste!
Update 35lbft and 55 work fine! And these rings are good!
