Issues with SPL subframe bushings
Hi there, first post. I am installing solid aluminum subframe bushings on my 350, and I have the old bushings out. The frost bushings are very loose, I can effortlessly them in with one finger. Rear bushings i cant manage to get more than halfway in with one, and the other cant hammer in at all. My questions are:
1. Are the front bushings okay being loose?
2. What are my options for the rear bushings? I dont have access to a press, and I have tried heat/freezing the subframe/bushings.
Thanks

I just installed these myself not too long ago. 3 of my front bushings were easy going in and 1 needed some help. The rear one, I don't see how you could do it without a press. I got like 1/4 of the way in before it was a dead stop. I rigged up my own using the driver that came with the kit.

Forward mount ears on mine slid in , the rear one in the subframe was to be pressed.
