Default 2005 350z vibration under braking

Hello everyone,

I have a 2005 350z (track edition) with around 25000km. The car is used exclusively for track.

The problem that i am facing is a vibration in the steering wheel under medium braking. It goes away under hard braking.

Current state:
kw v2 suspension
ebc rpx pads and ebc race discs with stock brembo calipers
stock wheels with new semislick tyres
whiteline bushings + uniballs

I can’t figure out what’s causing the vibration. I know the discs and pads are ok (i regulary change the pads due to wear ), the tyres are also well balanced. I thought it’s bushings, but changed them and i see no improvement in the vibration.

Has anyone else faced this? Any ideas what could be wrong?

Thanks!

Make sure you aren't getting metal transfer build-up. One needs to clean the rotors with a number of very hard stops to resolve this problem.
